peekVCR is portable and does not require installation. However, to work correctly, peekVCR needs access to an external program called 'yt-dlp.exe' to download videos. This is included in the 'FULL' version. To download and extract audio files, peekVCR needs access to an external program called 'ffmpeg.exe', which is also included in the 'FULL' version.
